Two species of giant clam Writer: Tri Wahono ALL UNIQUE: Two species of giant clam clam rare alias found in the waters of Southeast Sulawesi. If verified, then these findings make Indonesia the only country where the habitat of nine species of giant clams living in the world.

"We actually found the second since the start of conservation clams a year ago. At first we thought the two types of existing ones. After conducting research through various internet sources and publications of research oceanographer world, Habib concluded, similar to characterize both clam species Tridacna Tridacna tevoroa and rosewateri. During this time, T tevoroa found only in the Fiji Islands and Tonga in the Pacific. The T rosewateri found only in Mauritius and Madagascar. Not yet know how they can be found in the waters of Sulawesi.
